Wow! What a year it has been!
It seemed like just yesterday in January, we were planning activities to celebrate our 45th Anniversary, and today we are closing the books on 2021. As we close out this year, our Executive Team finds itself reflecting on the past year.
2021 was special in several unique and memorable ways. Primarily, it allowed us to reflect on our growth over the past 45 years and how we best position ourselves for the next 45+ years. We greatly appreciate your support, trust, and confidence since 1976.
Global supply chain issues became increasingly apparent as the year moved along due to pent up demand, many projects being launched across the nation, COVID-19 challenges, raw material shortages, etc…as the list could go on and on. We would like to personally thank our manufacturing partners, their employees, our Team Members, and your patience during these widespread challenges. Open communication, ongoing dialogue and a “never being left in the dark” mantra was our attitude (as it has been for decades) during this unique business climate and will be moving into 2022.
Looking forward to 2022, we are excited about new team members who have joined our ranks in 2021 as they continue to grow and develop to best assist you, new product offerings constructed to exceed your needs and to “Make Your Job Easier”, and a growing online resource presence to help further your education and knowledge on wire, cable and electrical components, products, and hardware. We strive to be your “one stop shop” when it comes to product design, material selection, procurement, install, and finally…when energized.
Speaking for all our employees, we are beyond grateful for our Metro Wire and Cable Corp customers, our vendors, and our communities. There is much to look forward to in 2022 – our 46th year – and we hope you share the same excitement that we do moving forward.
