Located 15 miles off the coast of Massachusetts, Vineyard Wind, the nation’s first, utility-scale, off-shore wind farm will generate clean, renewable energy for over 400,000 homes and businesses in the region. Metro Wire provided key design-assistance, procurement, and staged delivery for a variety of products to achieve this project’s success. Products ranged from substation control wire and cable, instrumentation/controls, fiber-optic cable, and several other wire/cable products and electrical components.
Meridian Wind Park, located across Mid-Michigan in Midland and Saginaw counties, is one of the state’s largest wind-parks. With more than 77 wind turbines, this site generates enough clean energy to power approximately 80,000 homes.
