Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport Fire Station 40 – Atlanta, GA

Metro Wire & Cable provided key design assistance and material fulfilment for Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport’s new “Fire Station 40”. This LEED Gold certified, new, ground-up facility required heightened security measures, communication systems, and specialty high-temperature and moisture blocking solutions to achieve this project’s success.

Potomac Yard Metrorail Station – Alexandria, VA

Due to the region’s growth, the Washington (DC) Metropolitan Area Transit Authority recently completed the Potomac Yard (Alexandria, Virginia) transit station. Expected to help assist nearly 2.5 million passengers annually, Metro Wire provided power, control, medium-voltage, and low-voltage wire and cable solutions, on-time, and under budget to assist with this key infrastructure project completion.

Book Tower – Detroit, MI

One of the oldest commercial, retail, and business office buildings in downtown Detroit (MI), Metro Wire & Cable provided key power and infrastructure cable to assist with this historic site’s renovation. The thirty-eight-story skyscraper underwent major re-development and renovations recently and we are excited to see the project’s success.

Weyerhaeuser NA OSB Plant Press – Grayling, MI

Metro Wire & Cable helped design-assist over 200 different cable constructions for one of Michigan’s largest, oldest and continuously operating OSB plant presses. Ranging from high-temperature to medium-voltage power cable, to flexible portable cord/cable, this project showcases Metro Wire’s ability to help clients achieve their results when working with a trusted electrical distribution partner.

General Motor’s Factory Zero – Hamtramck, MI

Metro Wire & Cable provided key support for the General Motors Factory Zero Assembly Plant in Hamtramck, MI. Factory Zero is GM’s first fully dedicated EV Assembly Plant.

Huntington Bank Headquarters – Detroit, MI

Metro Wire & Cable provided building automation and low voltage wire and cable solutions to the recently completed Huntington National Bank Headquarters in Detroit, MI. The 21 story, 427,000 square-foot building offers the latest technology elements related to security, HVAC, fire alarm and controls.
