Talen/PJM Susquehanna Nuclear Steam Station – Berwick, PA

Metro Wire & Cable provided medium & high-voltage cable solutions for the recently completed Talen PJM Nuclear-Susquehanna Steam Electric Station. Located in Pennsylvania, Susquehanna generates enough carbon-free nuclear energy to power 2 million homes.

Grand Rapids Biodigester & RNG Natural Gas – Grand Rapids, MI

Metro Wire & Cable provided power & control cable to the recently completed Grand Rapids, Michigan Biodigester. This three-tank system breaks down organic waste and turns the biproducts into renewable, natural gas to help power Michigan’s 2nd largest city.

Manatee Battery Energy Storage Center – Parrish, FL

Metro Wire & Cable provided power, substation control, fiber optic, and grounding for the Manatee Battery Energy Storage Center & Substation in Parrish, FL. This is the world’s largest solar-charged, battery system as it is the size of nearly 30 football fields.

Temple Substation – Detroit, MI

Metro Wire & Cable provided power, substation control, fiber optic, and grounding for the Temple Substation in downtown Detroit. Working in conjunction with utility contractors and public utilities, this fast-track project supports the new Stadium District within the heart of Detroit.

Southern Companies Plant Bowen Steam Scrubbers – Cartersville, GA

Metro Wire & Cable supplied power and control cable to assist with the Southern Companies re-life of several of their coal-fired, steam power plants. Helping power scrubbers that remove particles prior to leaving the plant, these powerful devices provide cleaner and safer emissions into the air.

Heart of Texas Wind Farm – McCulloch, TX
