2021 ‘Metro Cares’ Organizations


 

Metro Wire and Cable Corp will be supporting local organizations again this Holiday Season.  Organizations include:

 

-Detroit, MI – The Ronald McDonald House of Detroit.  The doors of RMHC Detroit opened in November of 1979, adjacent to the DMC Children’s Hospital of Michigan, becoming the 11th Ronald McDonald House location to open.  The Ronald McDonald House is a home away from home for families of hospitalized children.

 

-Iowa City, IA – The Coralville Community Food Pantry of Coralville, IA.  The Coralville Community Food Pantry supports nearly 3,300 Coralville and Tiffin residents every year They distribute nutritious groceries on a weekly basis, offer food to families with children when school is not in session, share nourishing food through free community meals, equip our neighbors with tools to grow their own food, and connect people facing diet-related health conditions to fresh produce grown at local farms.

 

-Lawrenceville, GA – The American Legion 127 of Sugar Hill, GA.  The American Legion provides life-changing assistance and guidance for veterans, military personnel, their families and communities in thousands of ways every day around the world. Help comes in the form of personal assistance, cash grants, donated goods, disaster relief, labor, networking, volunteerism and advocacy.
